"Mere declarations of faith, no matter how sincere, do not guarantee our salvation. Christ, the Son of God, demands that we be obedient
to His holy will. If we consciously and freely ignore the will of Christ, then He will ignore us after we die. Yes, Christ is merciful, but He is also just".

"A person who wants to become a real Christian, but who chooses not to be a member of the Catholic Church, acts like a person who wants to become a doctor of medicine, but who chooses not to be a student at a certified medical school. The Catholic Church is the only organization founded by God's Son to help humanity attain sanctity and eternal happiness in Heaven".

The Horror of the Profanation
of the Most Holy Eucharist
By Fr. Mark Kreis

This book broaches the theme of the profanation of the Eucharist in the very bosom of the Roman-Catholic Church in North America which has been going on for approximately a half century. The problem consists in pouring the remaining Eucharistic Blood of Christ into the sacrarium (a special sink usually located in the sacristy of the church) after the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass. The essence of the matter is that this practice is strictly prohibited in the Catholic Church, and those who pour the Consecrated Wine into the sacrarium incur an automatic penalty of excommunication reserved to the Apostolic See (Canon 1367 of the Code of Canon Law and Paragraph 107 of the instruction on the Eucharist Redemptionis Sacramentum issued by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments). Astonishing discovery at Christ’s tomb supports Turin Shroud
By Deacon Nick Donnelly, EWTN News:
An astonishing discovery has been made during repair work to the Edicule — the ancient chamber housing Jesus’ tomb in Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Scientists have reported extraordinary phemonena that may support the authenticity of the Holy Shroud of Turin.

“Let us pray, then, and let us always be asking for grace, if we wish to be saved. Let prayer be our most delightful occupation; let prayer be the exercise of our whole life. And when we are asking for particular graces, let us always pray for the grace to continue to pray for the future; because if we leave off praying we shall be lost. There is nothing easier than prayer. What does it cost us to say, Lord, stand by me! Lord, help me! give me Thy love! and the like? What can be easier than this? But if we do not do so, we cannot be saved. Let us pray, then, and let us always shelter ourselves behind the intercession of Mary.”

Free Meet the Witnesses of the Miracle of the Sun book.
By John M. Haffert.

This is the most gripping account ever written about the Fatima miracle of the sun. This book about the Miracle of the Sun offers the events of October 13, 1917 with the freshness of a news report based on personal stories of people who actually saw the Fatima miracle. This is not a book on theology. Neither is it a romance. But it holds your attention like a novel. We guarantee that once you start reading this book, you won’t be able to put it down. >>

Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to the Cathedral of Turin to venerate the Holy Shroud of Turin. According to Christian tradition, it is the burial shroud of Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God. Scientists from the University of Padua have recently proved that it is not a medieval forgery. The newest results date the Shroud of Turin to between 300 B.C. and 400 A.D. (Photo: www.fjp2.com)

PictureThe Veil of Manoppello
The True Face of Christ in Manoppello

On September 23, 2004, the German daily, Die Welt, featured an article by journalist Paul Badde titled, “The True Face of Christ: Extraordinary Relic of the Resurrection Discovered?” The Italian media were quick to remind the world that already in 1963 Saint Padre Pio had observed that the Holy Veil of Manoppello was “the greatest miracle in our possession.”

Published in 2006, Paul Badde’s book, "The Holy Face. The Veil of Manoppello," takes the reader on an a fascinating journey into the discovery of this extraordinary artifact of the Resurrection. Framed by a silver reliquary, the image appears on a piece of diaphanous fabric measuring seventeen by twenty-four centimeters (6.7 x 9.45 inches). It stands on public display on the main altar in the church of Manoppello, a town of five thousand located thirty kilometers from Pescara in the Abruzzi region. Not far away is the famous Shrine of the Eucharistic Miracle in Lanciano.

Defenders of Christendom
By James Fitzhenry

In his newest book, Defenders of Christendom, James Fitzhenry takes you on an exciting journey and introduces us to some of history's finest examples of heroism. These knights, who would become the Defenders of Christendom, were expected to prove their valor by heroic deeds, just as they were expected to live exemplary lives of Christian virtue, putting their faith into practice to perform good works for the benefit of all. The best of them cared less for wealth, power, and pleasure than they did for honor. >>

"I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened."

Hand of Peace: Pope Pius XII
and the Holocaust (DVD Trailer)
A Hand of Peace: Pope Pius XII and the Holocaust is an important contribution to the robust and timely debate that has arisen surrounding Pius' wartime record. Featuring interviews with world renowned Holocaust historian Sir Martin Gilbert; the Jesuit historian and postulator
Fr. Peter Gumpel; author and ardent Pius defender Sr. Margherita Marchione, M.P.F., Ph.D. This gripping documentary explores the difficult choices Pius XII faced during the Second World War, and provides convincing proof that his bold, yet discreet, prophetic actions saved tens of thousands of Jewish lives and paved the way for a new era of Catholic-Jewish relations that have deepened over the past 50 years.
